Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Met and transferred to your hotel.
Stay at your hotel for two nights.

Day 02 Delhi
Old Delhi pulses with the energy and colour, the hustle and bustle of thronged bazaars and is laced by a maze of narrow lanes which twist and turn between tall, leaning houses full of the sights, sounds and aromas of the Indian sub-continent. In Old Delhi you will see the famous Red Fort surrounded by shops, and bazaars (built by the Emperor Shah Jehan – the builder of Taj Mahal), the Jama Masjid mosque with its tapering minarets and wonderful marble domes, Chandni Chowk (Old Delhi's business nerve center), the hustle-bustle of everyday Indian life all around you and chattering voices.

Enjoy a sightseeing of New Delhi in the afternoon.
(Including the Qutb Minar, Humayun's tomb and Lutyen's buildings)

New Delhi stands in formal splendour, like a lone sentry guarding an outpost of a long-gone empire. It is a city of wide boulevards, which offers ever-changing perspec­tives of Lutyen's landscaped city. It is a city rich with formal parks and you will see the magnificent Parliament Building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the President of India in the 330 acres of land and designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens), once the awe-inspiring residence of the British Viceroys and now the Presidential Palace, India Gate (a majestic 42-mts high arch, built as a memorial to the Indian Soldiers killed in World War I), Qutab Minar (the 72.5 mts high tower dating back to 13th century and one of the greatest bequests of Islamic Culture), Humanyun's Tomb (built in the 16th century and architecturally the fore runner of the Taj Mahal, has Mughal Architecture at its graceful best).

Day 03 Delhi – Kathmandu

Day 04 Kathmandu

Kathmandu City:
This complex of Palaces, courtyards and temples, built between 12th and 18th Centuries, used to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. It is the place where kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnized. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. The Durbar Square, protected as UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the Social, religious and urban focal point of the city. There are also three museums inside the palace buildings.
Swayambhunath:
The four seeing eyes of Swayambhunath Stupa, watches over the valley from the top of 77m high hillock on western side. This most glorious Stupa in the world is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake. The surroundings of the Swaoyambhunath is covered with small Chaityas & monasteries as well as some Hindu temples. The National Museum and the Museum of Natural History are situated at the foot of the hill.

Day 05 Kathmandu

Patan:
Patan Durbar square:
Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting mélange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a world heritage site, the former Royal Palace complex is the centre of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is 17th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.

Boudhanath
This Stupa lies 6-km downtown Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, has the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It was built in the fifth century AD. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. One can observe devotees chanting religious hymns & playing with prayer wheels.

Pashupatinath Temple
Situated 5 km east on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, the temple of Lord Shiva with two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Chronicles indicate the temple's existence prior 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River

Bhaktapur City:
Durbar Square: As you walk in, you can not but be overcome by a feeling of inner harmony. Such is the art and architecture and the special layout here. The 15th century Palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspires admiration. The National Art Gallery is also situated inside. The Palace Entrance, Golden Gate that is the entrance to the main courtyard of the Palace of 55 windows, is masterpiece in repousse art. In front of the palace building is a medley of temples of various designs. There are temples like Batsala Temple and the Shiva temple, the replica of Pashupatinath Temple etc. Nyatapola Temple: This five-story pagoda was built in 1702 AD. Each story has pair of figures (two wrestlers, two elephants, two lions, two griffins and goddess's tigress & lioness). This temple is one of the tallest pagodas & famous for its massive structure and subtle workmanship.

Day 06 Kathmandu – Chitwan National Park

Day 07-08 Royal Chitwan National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives to the national park for tiger tracking and animal watch

Where the Sal forest of the Chitwan jungle meets the wide and beautiful valley of the Rapti River, the world is wild and splendid. Broad grassland sweeps north to the Mahabharata range and virgin jungle extends south to the Churia hills. For centuries the dense jungle bordering on the foothills of the Himalayas formed an impenetrable barrier, keeping Nepal a hidden and mysterious kingdom. The last three decades have seen that barrier breached, but the jungle of the Royal Chitwan National Park remains a world apart. Here the spirit of the great explorer-adventurers still lives.

More than sixty Royal Bengal tigers share the 1,000 square kilometers of the Park with the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, leopard, sloth bear and gaur (Indian bison). Wild boar, sambar, chital, hog and barking deer drink from water holes where marsh mugger and gharial crocodiles lie. For man, the privilege of seeing these animals in their world can, or course, be hard and dangerous. One of the ways he has won this privilege is by building “machans’ – concealed observation posts from which he can watch the life of the jungle in safety and comfort.

Day 10 Kathmandu – Koshi Tappu Wildlife Sanctuary

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve lies on the flood plains of the Sapta Koshi in Saptari & Sunsari districts of Eastern Nepal. The Reserve, established in 1976 covers an area of 175 sq. kms.

The vegetation is mainly tall Khar-pater grassland with a few patches of Khair-sissoo, scurb forest & deciduous mixed riverine forest. The reserve offers important habitat for a variety of wildlife. The last surviving population (about 100 individuals) of Wild Buffalo are found here. Other mammals residing here are hog dee, wild boar, spotted deer & blue bull. A total of 423 species of birds are recorded per day. Visitors can see minimum100 types of birds in a day.

This Camp has 12 double tented camps having bathroom / toilets outside the camps. The client can do Bird watching by raft in the Sapta Koshi and land-rover to see Dolphins & wild buffalo etc.

Day 11-14 Koshi Tappu Wildlife Sanctuary
