Pune, located in the Sahayadri Hills,
near the west coast of India, in Mahareashtra. Pune is a fascinating
city with a healthy climate that suits everybody all year round. Pune
is one of the biggest industrial towns of Maharashtra and India also
Pune is called the automobile city as many big auto mobile companies
have their head Quarters here. Pune is also famous for education and

Pune, located 170 kms. south of Mumbai has been the cultural capital
of Maharashtra for a long time now. The city was one of the main bases
of the 17th century great Maratha ruler and warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji,
who was born in Shivneri Fort here. Pune became the seat of every enterprising
Peshwa, under whom Maratha power rose as a major political force. The
Peshwas were renowned admirers of art and in their time, enriched the
city with temples, gardens and educational institutions. Pune city has
always been famous for the history that has been related with this city
and that was one of the main reason to visit this city. Although, still
history plays an important part in the city being a tourist attraction
but now more and more people visit Pune for its shopping bonanzas and
for the food that is offered here by various shops and road side vendors.

How To Reach Pune:
By Air: Airport is situated in the Lohagaon area, about
12-km from the city. Indian Airlines and Jet Airways provide regular
flights to Pune from Delhi, four flights a week to Chennai and Bangalore,
two to three flights daily from Mumbai and to Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and
Goa.
By Rail: Pune has excellent railway services connecting
all major cities.
By Road: Pune is well connected by road with the all
major cities within the state as well as outside the state. Daily private
and government buses ply from Pune to Mumbai (4hrs)
