set aside for us and will be going bush as they say. We take our own food
with us and our own cook. We will have demonstrations in various types
of embroidery, with a shisha workshop, and be privileged to witness and
observe the wonderful life styles of these pastoralists. We will also
see demonstrations of other crafts such as bell making, wood carving and
lacqyer work. The village is a visual treat for painters.
Day 7: Gold and Silver thread workshop.
For the first time this year we will have a full days
workshop in Gold and Silver thread while the painters will paint from
this beautiful remote and particularly untouched village hamlet. All the
ladies wear their traditional embroidered garments, a rich subject for
the painters. Lunch will be cooked for us and in the late afternoon we
return to Bhuj.

Day 16: Day of Leisure.
We are at a very nice hotel with a pretty garden and
swimming pool. I think a day of leisure is a good idea. However for those
who want to paint or experience textiles I have a good program for both...after
an early dinner we take the night sleeper to Jaipur. For those leaving
the tour to take the international flight.
