A wonderful itinerary that introduces
you to Royal Rajasthan as a guest, in some of its most spectacular
forts and palaces. It also takes you into the dense forests of
Ranthambore to meet the king of the jungle in his home ground. Both
experiences are the stuff family legends are made of.

Delhi, the contemporary manifestation of the many cities that have
occupied this site is where you begin. Having toured the gems of her
colonial heritage and turned the pages of history to earlier days:
Agra is the first halt. The Taj, recognized as a World heritage
Monument is not to be missed, nor is it to be visited hurriedly. A
loving tribute to a lady of extraordinary beauty, it has many moods -
all of which have to be seen to be appreciated.
From there
on to Jaipur, the imposing Fort of Amber, gateway to Rajasthan. The
Royal Bengal Tiger waits in the shadow of the magnificent fort at
Ranthambore. Approach with care you may not be granted audience though
he will make sure he catches a glimpse of you. In contrast a warm
welcome awaits in the palaces of Rajasthan. Turbaned family retainers
will take care of your every need, wait on your smallest command, even
as soft whispers of history echo in the rooms around you.
Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Reception and welcome at Delhi airport followed by transfer to your
hotel.
Day 02 Delhi
The afternoon tour introduces the capital of the worlds largest
democratic republic as well as the colonial and imperial city.
Day 03 Delhi
Visit old Delhi, the historic Mughal city of Shahjanabad, the Red Fort
within the walls of which it was protected, and the busy market of
Chandini Chowk.
Day 04 Delhi
Agra
Drive to Agra this morning. Visit the Taj, then other
monuments and return to see the setting sun paint the Taj in fiery
hues.
Day
05 Agra - Jaipur
En route to Jaipur, explore the
abandoned red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. There is also time to
make a detour to Bharatpur if you want to.
Day 06 Jaipur
Explore Amber fort and Jaipur
Day 07 Jaipur - Ranthambore
Getting to Ranthambore by the afternoon, an
evening safari into the forest is possible if you want to see the
jungle prepare for the night that lies ahead.
Day 08 Ranthambore
The natural beauty and wealth of wildlife within the
reserve fill the day.
Day 09 Ranthambore -
Kota Drive to Kota in the morning so that you have the
afternoon to explore.
Day 10 Kota -
Udaipur Bundis Taragarh Fort and the palace can be seen
en route to the lake city of Udaipur.
Day 11 Udaipur
The morning is devoted to sightseeing. You can also go
boating on Lake Pichola.
Day 12 Udaipur - Deogarh
You are a guest of the royal family. Visit the
village for a glimpse into rural life.
Day 13 Deogarh
Jodhpur Take a break on the way to Jodhpur to admire the
intricate ornamentation of the Ranakpur temples. Jodhpur and the
imposing fort that overlooks it will be explored in the afternoon.
Day 14 Jodhpur Delhi
A flight takes you back to Delhi. Relax or shop on this
last day.
Day 15 Departure
Transfer to the airport in time for your flight out.
